IMO...since recoveries due to beneficial interests from ABS Trusts are bankruptcy remote, the bankruptcy court doesn’t have jurisdiction or an obligation to tabulate or inform parties of those assets.

The “retained assets” = bankruptcy remote assets due to Beneficial Interests I’m ABS Trusts.

That is why the bankruptcy judge or debtors could not disclose those existing assets. They did not have the jurisdiction or the right to disclose Jose assets because debtors (WMI and WMIIC) did not own those assets in ABS Trusts. They only owned the beneficial interests!
