My bet against AMRN was not akin to being the losing team in a super bowl. It was an allocation of a % of my portfolio on a bet I believed had good EV (and was wrong). I make lots of good and bad bets, and AMRN was just one of them. I don’t even think about the loss anymore.
Unlike the all-in crowd, it wasn’t a make or break moment for me. And although it worked out fabulously for the all-in longs here, I hope the lesson learned wasn’t that you can now fly.
Presently, we a set of different issues and a different thesis is evolving, and my responses towards it are just good DD. That’s all there is to it :)
