duke53056: Correct, Vanguard never sold any of their GTE holdings (to my knowledge), therefore they have NO ACTUAL LOSS (regardless of what a basher here erroneously tried to assume), just a paper loss, like many of us longs here have, and also like us, Vanguard seems intent on accumulating and holding long until such time as they have enough gain to make them want to sell.
