Yes and no markjohn. Historically there have been predictions galore on this board with deadlines noted as stated by the FDA. We have been invariably wrong on those predictions. Why? Politics and lobbying headwinds? Or maybe the application fell on the floor and was found months later? Or the reviewer had indigestion one day and then had to take a month off? Or their server melted down? For a freakin patch that was cleared for over the eye (and I guess that's near the brain...but let me check on that) for blepharoplasty over ten something years ago that another credible poster said took two weeks for clearance.
