Sure, Moran could be disproved on many of his claims, but he also spent a lot of time burnishing his image as a big shot with great connections.

Look at the awards he received as a businessman or the appointments to business councils. Some of us questioned how he could receive business awards without released financials, or his lack of apparent work on the councils (he's been the Chairman on the Mississippi District Export Council for several years, but unlike the other members, never added his bio.)
