For those of you out there with high risk tolerance, a pair trade of long NWBO and short NVCER could be interesting.

I thought the purpose of pair trade was to reduce risk?

In this case your pair would reduce the risk of a general collaps in biotech. Agreed.

But NVCR is not really a good contra to NWBO (IMO, Senti). NVCR valuation is based on being basically a dev stage bio (TTF in larger indications) with enough cash comming in from glio to avoid significant dillution.

NVCR will very likely be reading out on some their other trials well before NWBO could impact cash flow from glio.

Not saying shorting NVCR is a bad idea, just not really seeing this as a classic pair trade. Nobody is buying NVCR for the metallic art-deco hat in the glio indication (unless they are clueless).
