Yes DoDah - I think the growth will be explosive as well. It has the potential to be, because they have so many different revenue streams and seem to be collectively sitting in a position of strength. That collective position of strength is what I am thinking will become a single company with a greater position of strength once the merger is done.

1. Eautodrop locations to leave your vehicle and have it professionally photographed.
2. Eautodrop have the deal with Ebay so the vehicle is then auctioned on Ebay, which is highly respected and the most recognised auction website on the Internet.
3. The seller benefits, because he does not have to worry about trying to sell the vehicle locally and either have it sat outside his house, or make less money from the sale by selling to a dealer first, who then profits from the sale to the final buyer.
4. The buyer benefits, because they are able to have online access to vehicle inventory, rather than have to look in the paper and drive round to dealerships. Check it all out online, go to the eautodrop location to check out the vehicle and then maybe put in a bid. More competitive price for the buyer due to no dealer in the process.
5. Eautodrop are adding more locations so that the service is available to more potential sellers. Therein lieth the expansion !

Complete Auto

1. Assisting car dealerships to sell their vehicles on Ebay.
2. Another revenue stream for the dealerships, with a better presentation than you would imagine a used car dealer to achieve on his own.
3. Complete Auto already has agreements with dealerships and they have an increasing number of salespeople to bring in more dealers. Therin lieth the expansion.
4. Completeauto.com is a very easy to use, professional looking website.

The reason I think that the new merged company has a very good chance of being in a position of strength and the potential "winner", is because they have recognised the strength of the Ebay brand in terms of it being synonimous with auto auctions. They have chosen to align their business plan very closely with Ebay, and people think of Ebay when they think of online auctions.

By aligning themselves with Ebay, they have the best chance of being able to grow the fastest and thus be have the optimum level of national coverage that is necessary when considering that Ebay itself has a global reach.

The online auction websites that have decided to "go it alone" ought to be quivering as they will be pushed aside IMO.

Who knows? Once it is all set up, Ebay may even consider buying out Complete Auto as they did with Skype, to bring the whole thing together.
