Westerners have a cultural bias when it comes to the future. We believe that with hard work and perseverance, things will get better. This cultural bias is on display when it comes to Anavex. Many continue to believe Anavex's day will come, we just need to be patient and stay focused. The truth is, in reality things don't necessarily get better. Sometimes they even get worse. Here's an observation that will be derided: The longs have been wrong all along and the track record of the last few years proves it. This is an indictment of management, not the science, which has yet to be demonstrated. Despite the appearance of progress, this is what the stock price is telling us.
