Well when it comes to free vs a fee I will say this. When a service is free whether it is a messaging system/board, dating services or apps/software systems, the free ones are usually useless (aka junk) and are free for a reason. They are free because they arent worth spending the money because the usability is quite low. If our app and system is superior and the functionality is there then it would be desirable even with a fee. So there are people out there willing to spend money on better quality products especially when it comes to protecting their children.
There's also an OFF button on phones! Why not just use that when driving? People are not trustworthy when it comes to not using the phone while driving. ONCI's apps aren't for everyone. They are for people who need to be forced to not use their phone while driving AND for company liability issues. Teenagers and people who have company phones need this app with an ADMINISTRATOR so the app CAN'T be disabled. It's not just the app itself that folks are paying for. It's the anti-tampering and administrator that's important. Plus other features. "bSafeMobile also monitors and reports on unsafe driving behaviours, including speeding, hard braking and excessive acceleration." That's from the Cogosense website. Constantly being upgraded!
