WOW! - Incredibly comprehensive, thank you.

I would only ask one question -

Is age simply long term trauma? If so would physical trauma, environmental trauma, psychological trauma, or pharmaceutical trauma have mechanism in common with the trauma of age or genetic trauma that you have mentioned and be included as treatable by the same method of "restoring cellular balance"?

Good write up. Good collection of references.

As a person who has impacted person in family, this gives confidence that the science may one day find good day treatment for these diseases.

As an Anavex investor, all this is just academic - even if the theory is right, not sure if A2-73 is doing the job.
So trial results are what is important.

PD trial may show some signearly but AD trial is a long journey.

THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE MESSAGE BOARD!

This post. This research. This poster.

If we are able to have one post as meaningful as this each week, this board retains a purpose.
(We do!, From various sources - thanks all. This one stands out at this point for all the right reasons - it’s what is most useful to see in posts - objective analysis of our investment - whether in the face of a reduced share price or even a well maintained rising price. Facts are facts and never unimportant. And to those who say the facts need to come from the company...I think this post points out that many of these have come directly from the company or from those who work with us, except falconer’s post which is, I believe, based upon his knowledge of the company’s science which he translates for us - thanks.)

Sokol, you are to be commended. Your post is objective, well sourced, obviously well researched, concisely written even with a fountain of pertinent information to investors.
This is worthwhile for every investor or prospective investor to read to remind them of our company’s approach and its potential or to introduce it to some. This should be on the Anavex site, it should be forwarded to industry analysts, journals specific to this field...such as Neurology, and groups associated with Alzheimer’s awareness and finding a cure: End Alzheimer’s, Alzheimer’s Association US/Europe, the Bill Gates Foundation.

My thanks for posting this inordinate amount of facts to refer to, are inadequate. They bolster our commitment to the cause of eradicating this disease and build upon our morale in the company when we see so much evidence before us collectively presented.
This is “The fountain of truth.”

Sincere, but inadequate, thanks, sokol!

Sokol what a great post. Thank you for your time spent putting that together for everyone. After reading it I decided to send a Anavex link to the local KVIE public broadcast station. They ran a segment on a local charity fundraiser for a man that died with ALS. I hope they take the time and do some research on Anavex and afterwords deem it worthy to run an segment on them and their science they are targeting. I saved it and will forward it to other US outlets that hopefully will not be under BP's thumb.

sokol, wonderful post and thank you for time and work that went into it.

We should all send it to the FDA commish and his Girl Friday. Maybe, that will break the 2-73/Rett logjam.

Sokol,

Amazing analysis. This is the reason to continue to come back to the board, albeit having to wade through lots of sewage along the way.

Hopefully some analyst read your post and start giving Anavex some well deserved coverage. Regardless, trial results will matter most and you present a very good picture of why the probability of success is reasonably on the high side.

Thank you!

Sokol, Thanks for your hard work. I have sent this to two people who might send it to two more. That is how things get spread today. I have read it twice and will read it again and again to gain comprehension.

Sokol, thanks for putting it altogether for us! The last link (http://anavex.com//files/1303_ADPD_Valentine.pdf) does not work for me...says "page not found". Does it work for you? If not, might there be another source?

Thank you!
