In fact Kate, if you read the article I posted 2 days ago, since NSM works with FNMA for a long time, it gives them the "government" stamp and NSM now WMIH/COOP has been servicing loans even from the FDIC.
But this has nothing to do with legacy WAMU assets. NSM/COOP simply service loans anonymously no matter where it comes from.
NSM had the 65B loans in its pocket long before it has ever heard of WMI Holding.
