If there were no Bears or Shorts the stock price would increase dramatically. Your argument is invalid, supply and demand don't work that way. And if you think that entrenched businesses like BP don't engage in corporate warfare, you are being naive.

Virgilio, Neil Woodford showed what happens to NWBO share price when he made large purchases. The share price shot up thru the roof. Consequently the share price declined when he lost interest. Big news is needed for longs. Otherwise we can expect, the beatings to continue for long shareholders. IMO
