(AP) -- Women's clothing retailer Bebe Stores Inc. said Wednesday its fiscal first-quarter earnings rose 50 percent as the company used fewer markdowns to sell its wares, pushing sales up 24 percent. But the company's forecast for the current quarter disappointed, and shares fell in after-hours electronic trading.
