Mcniel ba is better than rosario OBP. and not for a second as negative as I am on rosario, will I tell you mcneil has a higher upside. But the guy has hit everywhere he has played, and he is still hitting here.

Not even sure he is gonna be a starter, but what I was saying did I have to see Jose Reyes play for a couple of months while this guy was hitting high 300's in triple A. we were going nowhere. He is 26. Even yesterday. They won't play him against a lefty, why must he sit, lets find out if he can hit lefties you will never know if you never play him.

But this organization is clueless. They are so dumb it is truly baffling.

War is not a fabricated stat any more than any other stat it is calculated by a formula just like everything else. Now I'm not a slave to war, and sometime war can lie to you (specifically on the overall number) but most of the times when I see a player with a plus war on defense almost everytime I'm convinced they are at the very least a plus defensive player, when I see a negative war of -1 or more, I will tell you almost everytime on defense that means they are butchers out there. So when I see a slightly positive or negative number I let my eyes do the tricks as always and sometimes disagree with war, but if I see a huge -1 or +1 war defensively it almost always tells the story correctly tim anderson had a 1.2 war in 2016 when he came up last year was 0.0 so he did have some struggles in 2017, but 2018 right back up again. The guy has never had a negative defensive war, so I'm inclined to believe at worst he was average in 2017, and this year and 16 he was +.

I like Mcneil, as for rosario I don't need any WAR stat to tell he is butcher just look at all the basics mistakes this guy makes I would so trade this guy in heartbeat, if it meant something good as SS. forget all the errors he makes what about all the times he doesn't get the ball out fast enough and messes up dp or he plays back rather than come in that costs extra outs this guy does everything wrong at SS. Trust me I watch him everyday, when you see a +1 or -1 defensive war, the war stat is almost always correct in my opinion.

Mcneil with another 2 hits there is a reason why I like what I see he is playing well.

In fairness to mcneil the guy was hitting 342 in the minors this year with 19 homers and 50 xbh in just 339 AB. The guy has a 1028 ops, it isn't exactly like he was doing okay in the minors he was massacring the baseball. Having said my positivity for a second, now I'm gonna walk it back, I don't know if he can hit LH pitching would be nice to find out, but have to play reyes every time a LH is up, we have to keep him fresh. This is one stupid and I do mean stupid organization. Shaking my head.

correction Mcneil is now 3/3. This guy can hit RH pitching.
