I think you are giving reporters waaaaaay to much credit....especially this one. The fact that she responded with "I could add the word SOME of his shares, but he said to me that he was getting into a new business because it was more lucrative." shows that she really didn't give a fart whether it was all or some of his shares. The fact that she didn't respond to the followup email may stem from what read to me to be a somewhat condescending followup and she probably decided she was done with the exchange and certainly didn't care about updating or retracting a fluff piece over the word 'Some' which she illustrated she didn't think really mattered. Trust me most reporters these days are hacks....pay is mediocre and education required is minimal. Whatever...I don't really care either way but if you are using that exchange to confirm he sold all his shares I wouldn't put any credence into it.

Actually the vast majority of reporters strive for accuracy.
Especially so if it is pointed out to them something they wrote could be in error.
Not only is it a point of professional integrity....they are open to lawsuits for any damages that can be inferred from what they report.

It is very, very telling there was no effort for a retraction or correction in this story.

We have two scenarios that have been presented.
A reporter claiming Bordynuik stated he sold all his shares and is 100% willing to let the story stand publicly against the possible threat of legal action.
Or someone who claims to have called Bordynuik on the phone....no transcript, no quotes, no legal jeopardy from saying anything that they want.

It is a pretty easy choice on who to believe.
