Especially so if it is pointed out to them something they wrote could be in error.
Not only is it a point of professional integrity....they are open to lawsuits for any damages that can be inferred from what they report.
It is very, very telling there was no effort for a retraction or correction in this story.
We have two scenarios that have been presented.
A reporter claiming Bordynuik stated he sold all his shares and is 100% willing to let the story stand publicly against the possible threat of legal action.
Or someone who claims to have called Bordynuik on the phone....no transcript, no quotes, no legal jeopardy from saying anything that they want.
It is a pretty easy choice on who to believe.
