I would imagine the more automation and robots they throw out that they have spent billions on, the more man power they will need to hire.

"Throw out"....That's Laughable Non-Sense. Nobody who has managed to become as successful as Elon Musk, or any Multi-Billion dollar company would simply throw out excessive robotic automation. It wouldn't be cost effective or efficient.

More than likely they would either, retool, reprogram or readjust for other uses. That or sell it to absorb some of the cost return on the equipment.

The U.S. Military is the exception.
