Between ASM and BTG

I haven't studied either very much, so I have no expert views.
I was starting to look at BTG. looks like the oversold plunge might be worth buying a little at 2 dollars ,more at 1.75 area? but I'm no expert on either company's fundamentals.

I was looking at the holdings of GDXJ today, so many beaten down miners.whats so great about owning a small piece of all of them,in GDXJ, it might just be better to find the best individuals and stick with those few. Like PVG. which I was lucky enough to buy at the old low bottoms years ago.

I might be interested in examining MAG silver.its finally come down , like most are doing. but for the last year or two, MAG was levitating while others were falling.

My 2cents.
Depends on holding period you are looking at.
Management, management, management. (Experience is huge)
Then cash and ability to raise financing to get into production, improve production, finance acquisitions in this beaten down market etc.
Are the expectations consistent with market averages for the type of mining, open pit, underground, gold, silver etc.?
Is the country stable that the prospect is in?
Check the share structure. Warrants, options to management etc.
Expected need for dilution.
Liquidity.
