Damage was probably already done, started EPA too late - but it may have helped prevent him from having a stroke. Did they make him stop taking the EPA after surgery? Agree the cardio saying 99% hereditary is full of dung, that's nonsense - and environmental can be way higher than 1%, unless you live in a white tower. What about diet and exercise, for god's sake - a bad diet of processed foods full of chemicals puts you at a way higher risk of CVD.
