yes that's what i am confused. all tsla needs a good operations guy and elon can dedicate in design and innovation. auto industry is oldest industry and there will be some good operations people in that industry.
i think tsla board members are not doing their job. either he is not listening to them or they are not saying right things to him. aapl took off after tim cook became coo when steve jobs was ceo. i still get surprised how aapl executes their operations so seamlessly.
