If a buyout occurs, perhaps the company would consider an issue of additional shares to shareholders in lieu of cash dividend. More options mean a better opportunity for everyone. Also gives shareholders the chance to prepare for the future as it unfolds?
I would like to have back shares that were lost on the split 1:400 instead of the liquid cash deposited into my account - trying to avoid a large tax bill.
