Your last sentence is spot on.

Having been a part of this process many times before, hidden URLs often used and often get over-looked by the public and serve as another way for the client to review content w/o having to login to some "test" site.

Some CMS' (content management systems) like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc., can even go so far as to edit in production mode (live editing), but apply a password to a page. That said, using a CMS detector, this site uses DRUPAL for both the dLNG and dLLC sites.

The fact that the LLC site is a duplicate of the live DelfinLNG site, proves to me, their developers didn't think we'd stumble upon the test site.

Websites clearly aren’t my speciality but that makes sense. I’d care to agree with you thinking they didn’t want it to be searchable. Sure as hell took them awhile to figure it out though hahaha.
