Gil........I often wonder about all of the smart people who have all the answers to the questions if they have ever actually had the line responsibility in a large company and had to make major decisions affecting the marketing operations and/or profitability?
Or is just that they like to speculate regarding the decision process and play the game. In the real world there is no IMHO regarding company strategies and decisions. You make them, implement them, and look at the results which are reflected in the performance, monthly, quarterly, annually and so on.
It's no game, it's a matter of survival.
