Most companies are very protective of their data, and the output of their R&D departments. That data takes a lot of capital investment. Companies do not give this data out for their competitors.

They are trade secrets.

They publish everything they can that is appropriate for public and scientific release. There's no 'secret success' that is withheld.


The key word you use is "appropriate".
What is appropriate depends on your goals and expectations.

There hasn't been a full on scientific paper published about human trials that I am aware of.

Why that is, is a subject of conjecture. There are many millions of $ at stake. Therefore, there are a lot of considerations besides scientific release and appeasing the public through disclosure.

Whether they company has that balance right or wrong I can not say. That answer will only be clear after the facts are in.
