Joey Herrick has 30 years of success as a businessman/entrepreneur in the food industry. He created comedienne Phillis Diller’s canned chili line in the 1980’s and brought to market the first-ever chicken chili in a can. He then created Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance Pet Foods, which became one of the most respected premium pet food brands in the industry. He sold Natural Balance to Del Monte in 2013 and started a charitable organization called Lucy Pet Foundation. To date the Foundation have spayed and neutered over 20,000 dogs and cats in the Los Angeles area. He also started Lucy Pet Products to help raise more money for the foundation.
