From what I'm reading, the "effect" of suspending trading is what will catch them with their pants down. Most will not want that to happen, so the squeeze should happen before the cert exchange date.

Trading won't be suspended but those selling shares before the certs have been settled in their accounts will be selling short. With CSHD, TDA took 3 days to complete the exchange and I could only sell through phoning the broker and at the risk of being short.
