Saleen had a 10 year "fully paid-up (subject to certain royalty fees), sublicensable" license with GreenTech to sell Saleen-branded cars "worldwide other than in North America, Europe, Middle East and Australia."
Since GreenTech went bankrupt, it appears that GreenTech sub-licensed this out to Jiangsu Secco Automotive, the company that is currently running the China operation (http://www.saleenauto.com/).
In other words, I don't think much has changed except now a company stronger than GreenTech and actually based in China is the one investing in building the Saleen brand in China.
Hopefully Jiangsu Secco will be more successful in selling Saleen-branded cars in China than GreenTech would have been if they hadn't gone bankrupt, which means in the long run that's more royalty $ for Saleen Automotive.
