Oil prices decline early in NY after two days of increases. The EIA is set to release its report at 10:30 am ET , after a parallel report Tuesday from trade group API said US inventories of crude oil fell by a sizable 6M bbls, but that gasoline and distillates inventories bearishly increased by a combined 4.9M bbls.

The Nymex oil contract for September delivery is 1% lower at $68.50 /bbl.
