Yes, the data is not complete and has matured by a year a half now. To be statistically significant (in other words, efficacious), you have to unblind the trial, and see how it plays out. And he’s likely not seeing the individual cases of his own patients benefitting from it as Dr. Ashkan, Liau, and some other doctors have seen, most likely because his hospital never enrolled any patients.

From my point of view, I’ve demonstrated to myself at least that the blended data has already beaten Optune’s, so I’m good. I could care less if Dr. Platten isn’t convinced.

I am quite convinced the 23 and 34 months OS numbers for overall blended and methylated respectively display efficacy because these numbers are higher than that of historical controls or that of Optunes'. If these numbers are say 10 and 15, anyone will say the trial failed. But here Dr. Platten uses the legal or technical terms 'cannot determine' because these numbers are still blended or unblinded ones so he can inflict doubt no argument about it. But the treatment population is 2:1 vaccinated:placebos. It must be the larger vaccine arm patients contributing to the bigger numbers. And that too the crossover placebos must be contributing as well to the bigger numbers here due to the effect of vaccine, nothing else. Whichever way you do the math, the higher numbers must come from the 66% vaccine arm patients Period. I am using the word 'must' here like Dr. Platten used the words 'blended numbers cannot determine'. Both his and mine arguments are indisputable. His and mine word games will come to light when the trial is unblinded. Also to note is like senti pointed out these 23 and 34 OS numbers are a year and a half old based on 2017 spring referesh data. LP got 2018 data now and we are already into August. 2018 Spring refresh data must have been analyzed now and numbers tallied. The shorts and the naysayers have nothing FUDs left to scare the longs profiting themselves now. We are into binary waiting results imminent anytime from LP breaking the silence. And the binary is 100% favorable to Longs. MMs or some hidden forces are stalling the stock price throwing FUDs on financing or dilution. LP has enough money to finance avoiding dilution - we saw it before. Again we are already into August. Can't believe it how LP is capable of taking us into August now. Quite safe and convinced sailing. We reach the destination any time now.
