I agree with the "Established", Art. I assume this was part of negotiating with Dr Scholls. They probably don't want a 33% cheaper product out there that could be used for foot pain.

Might it be that increasing the SRP now is a forward thinking, carefully analyzed decision, involving another major player, which will permit higher margins, more room for promotional programs and better positioning vis a vis analgesic drug and device competitors and their pricing in the pain space?

Remember, chronic and acute pain sufferers currently using drugs are temporarily masking the pain only, the drugs wear off, repeat and so on. Drug analgesics and devices like TENS do not deal with edema issues caused by inflammation and bruising.
