Arie Belldegrun received $610 million for his share of the Gilead purchase of Kite.

His net worth is a billion now.

If NWBO's share goes up to a $1, it'll likely mean there appears to be some sort of success on the horizon. And that will mean that LP's efforts were starting to finally pay off.

Surely you don't believe a woman should be paid less than a man for doing a similar job like running a biotech company?

Those are stunning figures! How's she going to get the stock to run with so many shares outstanding? Do you think she's planning another adjusted reverse split hoping to run it?

First, I know $110M profit seems like a great thing. But when you look at what Linda Powers has put up in her own $$ over the years it's a huge risk and that's not even taking into account the emotional/stressful aspect of what has happened over the past few years.

I get that many people feel I'm some sort of apologist for her and Les Goldman, I'm not. I agree they haven't always run this business greatly, and see how overly optimistic statements have backfired on them. But I truly feel they've done their best to march to the drummer they feel will get this product to market, and they've suffered a lot more than any of us who're passive investors. I'm speaking purely from a personal level.

So, $100M for 11 years of toil and aggravation would seem like quite a disappointment in my perspective. She could have made much more than that with investments in much simpler and less risky ventures over the past 10 years. When I ask myself why would someone do such a risky thing, and stick with it so doggedly I can only answer that she and Les must truly believe in this. Nothing else makes sense, in my opinion
