If you sell X ICNB shares, then buy back X ICNB shares (or warrants or options) before 31 days, a wash sale will result. You wouldn’t be able to deduct loss on 2018 taxes (can in 2019). Same goes for the reverse order...can’t buy new shares now and sell the same qty for a loss within the next 30 days (31st day ok).
