Hopefully it's just related to the merger/acquisition. That was peddled for some time, and would have been very costly to achieve.
It's always a possibility that they could try and rely on EOS' software which is included with the high end flagship printers they're purchasing. Sigma's software won't be for everyone, especially those short on $$$, and we still only have capabilities for one laser usage until they announce otherwise. I believe the printers they're buying have four lasers.
Thanks Jeff for your post. Nice when you get an honest response from a ceo. Did you try a follow up email with morf3d to clarify if he was talking about the merger as long term or if he meant they won't use the software.
