Linda shared at a shareholders meeting back a year or so ago that it was difficult to find people who were good at the job and whom the company could trust. Think about this.
We have to remember that this is a company which has already had to deal with spies and possibly thieves (Ms. Wolf) even after she came highly recommended by a major, major shareholder. She can’t be sure that the next person she hires will be working strictly for her or mining for data to sell to those who want to destroy this innovative company. When you can’t even trust your biggest financial backer, how can they possibly bring in someone who nobody knows? It’s not like they can just put an ad online or in the paper.
