While the “Our Technology” section of the Conextions Medical Inc. website ( conextionsmed.com ) states
“This stainless steel (emphasis mine) and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene implant is designed for the approximation of tendons 1-4mm in thickness and 3-7mm in width,” LQMT has this to say about it: http://www.liquidmetal.com/conextions/

I’m inferring that Conextions Medical doesn’t care to split hairs between stainless steel and amorphous metal when it comes to describing their product, but per the 2016 contract (see https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20160119005691/en/Liquidmetal-Technologies-Receives-2016-Production-Contract ), it looks like LQMT is making strides in the medical market. Let’s hope the clinical trials are a success!
