The character of a person has nothing to do with his rights to own anything. It is what it is and I can leave my million dollar P distribution inheritance to a nasty neighbor and forgetting about my nice kids.
In the will guidelines, it is said that you will purposely leave $1 dollar as inheritance to the relative that you don't want to receive anything so that he/she cannot go to court later and contest that you were sick and forgotten as an old man and left out his/her name in the will.
