The NOLS resulted from WMI abandoning ownership of it's 100% equity interest (Stock) in WMB, not WMI's Common shares, which were WAMUQ!!!

WMI Common and Preferred shares had, and now have absolutely nothing to do with WMIH or their NOLS at this point, they were all cancelled on March 19, 2012.

Good grief................

You are acting as if you are some kind of special shareholder. Thanks to you that WMIH has the NOL and escrow owns the Estate. LOL. But in reality, before 2012, all stocks can be bought. You could own common or preferred. In fact, you can own a debt such as WAHUQ or DIMEQ. But after 2012, all stocks were canceled.

The choice of which stock to own before 2012 boils down to what return you get. If you chose to own common which has less return than preferred then that was your choice. But that does not give you more right today because all stocks were canceled and we all own the same bucket of money called Estate which will be split 75/25 according to the court ruling. It is what it is. If you don't like it then you could own preferred before 2012. But it is too late now to change the rule if you have bought the wrong stock.

Given that you don't bother to read POR 7 even today then you likely bought the wrong WAMU stock. I don't wish bad thing on you but tough luck since you ignore court ruling.
