No one has seen anything like this. The number one example of that other company which rhymes with smell does not even come close to what is going on here.
Even if "the news" causes the pps to hit 5 dollars as soon as it drops, it will do nothing for Delfin if they are not the ones selling the shares. 100 mil in Egan's pocket doesn't help them a bit.
However, if Egan has sold his shares to someone that can flip them for a higher price once the news hits, then it becomes a win win for all parties involved.
Look at Enbridge's last Annual report. I found it myself but I am not going to hold anyone's hand at this point.
They paid 82 million for an undisclosed venture that is sealed.
Furthermore, if you want to corroborate it, if you look up the deals that Talisman has made, one of them is with a foreign entity for about the same price, except that it is reported in US dollars. At the time, 76 mil US was the equivalent of 82 mil Canadian.
