Why would a hypothetical example be used as evidence in a patent application? I understand conceptually what you are saying but the document does not say that and I am not aware that such has been the practice in any previous patent apps by any other firm. I also note a massive amount of objective evidence in the rest of the application. Is all of that also fake?

Of all the crap that ebbs and flows by way of opinion here we need to have some set of basic standards for evidence. If we agree that the patent app posted is fake then that is one level of understanding, in which case this entire comm. process is BS.

Basic question: Is it common practice to use hypothetical examples in patent apps? (see ex#5 in recent patent app.)If Y then someone please provide a few examples of this. This does not need to be a long discussion.
