I still dont understand why they dont use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn as free advertising. To me that seems like a no brainer but again we are talking about LQMT marketing department which is not much.
Small advertisements lead up to larger things. Alot of good DD was done this weekend. Maybe Li has this whale on the hook and is laughing at us daily for doubting him, hoping this is the case.

It appears research did not find Mark Anderson's liquidmetal fish hooks which were made in the mid 2000's.

Thanks to my dear friend, LQMT_Monster, I am in possession of one such hook.

It's a shame, that, just like the knife, LQMT was unable to sustain either sales or manufacturing

It is all rather mystifying ...... I've been concluding that 1) the material is to expensive to manufacture into a valuable product and/0r 2) companies are not looking to re-tool their infrastructures to adapt to the material.

Either way, I feel a lot like a guy looking though a window at the fun party.

I was surprised that he never responded to my suggestion because a year or so earlier I spoke with him via a conference call that included PH, TS, and a guy from the small time marketing firm that they hired at the time. I was invited to take part in the call - along with a few other folks with “significant” investment interest in LQMT - for the specific purpose of making suggestions. My impression was that all parties were genuinely interested in what investors had to say. They never advertised the calls so they were not done to impress shareholders.

At the time, I wasn’t much help. But subsequent to that event I had a few ideas that I transmitted. So, given that background, I expected a reply... which never came. However, the lack of a reply does not mean that my suggestions were ignored. It only means that I was ignored. :-)
