Those daily short volumes are not a running total, meaning you can not add up all the days of short volume posted and come up with a total short number.

Stocks have 2 days after the day they trade to cover, the short report site does not go back and correct its numbers.

Now that isnt saying the short numbers posted for a trading day were not short, but they can show short for a variety of reasons, and as FINRA data and otcmarkets data shows every two weeks the total number of shares that actually wind up short then your number tally is way off :)

The Short report said 542865209 short shares. That was last week idk how many days to cover tho.
