If Oracle is using the product internally or externally for marketing Oracle products, communicating internally, training internally, etc. they should pay for it. I saw first hand the interest at the conference.
If they are demoing the product and selling notifiCRM, that would make no sense for them to have to buy. This is not MLM selling where you actually make someone buy the product before they resell it.
