pm101, 6/29 is the date that both companies must vote confirming merger and while I believe the results are a forgone conclusion, this action must happen before any merger finalization.
With that said, I believe WMIH will file an 8K between 6/29 and the first week or so in July showing merger final and completed. I firmly believe this merger completion also triggers other positive actions for investors but as always only time and filings will show us the way.
Beware of trading between now and 7/15/2018, as I would not be surprised to see WMIH trade to Jan/2018 lows of around .65 cents while sharks accumulate more.
The Big Money players would like to accumulate especially if there is a Share for Asset event to get more shares (yes, extreme greed) and then build the value in after this event, allowing them more shares at a lower price only to see the value rise dramatically over the next several months.
