I could think of several reasons someone would want the price to stay up. Someone that’s down a lot would benefit from the appearance of buying interest, it could also benefit some insiders, or just about anyone with a lot of shares, and $40,000 in their Etrade account . My guess is that if/when the 10k comes out there will be a lot more buying for a few days, but until then a giant bid on a low float will have to suffice.
