Who or what entity is the successor-in-interest to Washington Mutual Bank (WMB) and the former subsidiaries of WMB, wholly-owned by WMB?

Successor in interest to only what was sold to them by the FDIC, not what was retained for the benefit of the Receivership IMO.

From the first page of your linked court document:

"J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. (as purported Successor-in-Interest to Washington Mutual Bank, WaMu Capital Corp., Long Beach Securities Corp., and WaMu Asset Acceptance Corp.)"

pur·port
verb
past tense: purported; past participle: purported

appear or claim to be or do something, especially falsely; profess.
"she is not the person she purports to be"
synonyms: claim to be, profess to be, pretend to be

You left out "Purported" a claim though not a FACT. (as purported Successor-in-Interest to Washington Mutual Bank, WaMu Capital Corp., Long Beach Securities Corp., and WaMu Asset Acceptance Corp.)
