Why do some of you say that Huff is 'effectively gone'? He is part of a team. Everyone on a team is 'effectively there'.
He said he would pass the baton to someone else based on 2006 performance, he didn't say he would leave.
IMO he will continue to work with the rest of the Globetel team to bring to market his vision. Just because he isn't CEO doesn't mean he doesn't have great value as a technical lead. I believe he is still highly valued for his vision and technical abilities.
He could easily become the chief technical officer once the SEC is concluded but for now he is probably considered an individual contributor.
If had no salary now I would be more concerned but that is not the case.
IMO he and Dumas (in conversation with Kostro) came to the conclusion that things were not working well enough with Tim as CEO. According to Mide's conversation with Bleckman, which makes sense to me, Tim agreed to step down three months early. That does not mean he has no valuable place on the Globetel team, just a different one than before.
