Consider this: If most of the investors here would have put there money on a well known blue chip - let's just use Boeing (BA) for this example. Let's say you have been invested for about 10 years in LQMT and your investment was $20K - essentially in 10 years you might have almost doubled your money if you got in for an average of 12 cents a share, about right. I have been in for 12 years and my cost basis is very close to 12 cents a share.

But what if we would have taken our $20K and put it on Boeing (BA) 10 years ago, they have solid revenue, a nice dividend, create good commercial aircraft for airlines all over the world, have created excellent aircraft for defense department, and other defense countries. Well today that $20K would be worth very close to $120K (6 times your original investment) and you would be generating very close to $2260 dollars in dividends this year.

There are of course even way better examples out there than BA - everyone here can name an example. When you think about it very long you can see why almost every excellent financial adviser advises you to stay clear of penny stock crap - we, and certainly I have learned my lesson, it almost never pays off! Even if LQMT goes to a dollar tomorrow I still would be ahead if I would have put my LQMT money on BA rather than LQMT because of quarterly dividends and increasing dividends.

But let's say that we persist with LQMT - we think for certain 2019 will be the year and we will be $2.00 a share by late 2019. Well were will Boeing be - they have a backlog to build as many commercial planes as they can manufacture with 3 shifts until 2022 currently, they have good defense contracts lined up, and they are getting ready to raise their dividend again. You see the problem even if LQMT does hit $2.00 by late 2019, BA could be well over $400.00 by late 2019 and you could have $3200.00 per year in dividends.

Basically the only way we win with LQMT versus a simple blue chip like BA is if LQMT goes to $2 bucks in the next few months, and stays there do to solid contracts with real revenue in the many millions per month range. The contracts would have to be something that would have to be produced indefinitely and grow in volume over time with new ones coming in the door. Then the question is how much can it really grow beyond $2.00 per share even if it goes there this year - your not going to get a dividend in your life time with LQMT unless your like 20 years old and maybe not even then.

Is there anyone here that really truly believes that LQMT can achieve $2.00 per share in the next 12 months? How many here actually believe LQMT can get to $1.00 per share in the next 12 months? Unless LQMT can hit between 1.00 and 2.00 per share in the next 12 to 18 months your better off to take your investment and put it in BA with a solid dividend or you name it blue chip with solid dividend _____ I think it can be mathematically and financially proven.

I a very small part I agree however you need to take in consideration the 400+millions owned by Lqmt HKLtd and 100+millions owned by Li.That's more that 50% of the total outstanding shares.

ABSOLUTELY TRUE. The silence from management and their inept interest in keeping shareholders or the general public informed of their progress and or future is unquestionably concerning despite all the hype and potential. I too will give them the remainder of this year for real news and progress otherwise my 10+ year investment in this company will come to a close and I will move on along with many other longs I imagine.
My only hope is that when I decide to bail I am not doing it at a loss.
TWT but it too is running short for this stock. IMHO
