I am not looking to spread 'baseless' rumours

There is an amount of possessiveness and emotion on the board that gets in the way of discussion. At times it almost gets like AMRN is a teenager who has delicate feelings and must never hear anything equivocal lest it be crushed. That said, most everyone here contributes and has found a place. Roll your eyes and overlook the ad hominem attacks. Ignore it. At times we've all had to be ignorant. Some more than others. ;)

Dr Nissen's comments on the REDUCE-IT placebo as the key investigator and sponsor of the STRENGTH trial (link below) is likely relevant

You mean:
- Comments that you cannot produce, yet you want to start a dialogue on?
- Comments from Reduce-It's adversary?

Are Dr. Nissan's comments you are referring to old or new? Do they relate to the previous trials or the current Reduce-it trial?

I will let the doctors comment on the science. I will say the placebo issue was dealt with at the Anchor ADCOM, hopefully for the last time. AMRN has stopped EPANOVA from coming to market, blocking it with it's patents. I would say that a good reason the doctor will dismiss V. We are raining on his parade.
