My take on tonight's show

Overall I didn't think they were great tonight to be honest.

Caleb (a)- The new song, I didn't love to say the least. I thought he was flat in parts, and too me it was just average at best. Grade C

Caleb (b) The encore song, This was by far his best performance of the 3. I like the way he sings that song, just rock solid, good tone, good song choice, just works well for him. Grade B+

Caleb (c) The Home Town Song, I thought it was just okay, a lot of the song, there just wasn't much going on, didn't love the way he performed the song. Average at best for me. Grade C

Overall Grade C+

Gabby (a) on the original song, I didn't love the song, it made her tone be emphasized again and not in a good way. Hit some bad notes along the way for me. Grade D

Gabby (b) of all the songs she chooses to sing on the encore song, she picked perhaps one of the worst songs she had the entire contest for her, and the second time was no different then the first. her tone is back at it, just a total mess for me, a bunch of screaming for me. Grade D

Gabby (c) The best of the three, than again, beating two D's ain't saying much. I thought it sounded a bit sour and there were some bad notes along the way, slightly Below average for me on this one. Didn't love the way it was performed either. Grade C-

Overall Grade D+

Maddie (a) The original song, was the best out of the three originals, but didn't like that one either. she did okay on it, decent vocal, but just above average for me at best, which is one of her weakest yet. Grade C+

Maddie (b)- Solid vocal on the encore, not my favorite choice she could of made, but it was rock solid nonetheless. Grade B

Maddie (c) Her final performance was the best performance of the night slightly better than than caleb second song. Overall she was like the song way better than the other two in my mind she has won this competition tonight and overall in a landslide in my opinion. Grade B+

Overall Grade B

In My opinion
1) Maddie-without a doubt.

2) Caleb- sang better tonight by a country mile than Gabby.

3) Gabby-as I said last week she was good for at least 1 performance that I didn't like, but she surprised me in a negative way with all 3, not being great. should finish 3rd.

Time will tell, but that is how I see it. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
