Thanks drv, but I am far from a expert when it comes to investing. Most of my thoughts and comments on investing are experience based....live and learn so to speak. I started investing when I was 17 and had some hard lessons my first few years but the past 20 have been very rewarding. I am best at finding (and investing in) sectors and/or companies that have been "out of favor" but are poised for turn-around, particularly in the tech sector. I have found some pretty lucrative investments. Most of the winners had major doubt surrounding them at the time of my first position. I dealt with it in Nvidia and now with Anavex and Blackberry. Usually, the stocks with the most naysayers/doubters are the ones that the ROI are the highest. At least in my experience.
About the only thing I am a expert in is Wildland Firefighting as I have been doing it for 24 years and have extensive training and experience in this field. I love my job but after 24 years and too much travel and continuous pounding of my body, I am hoping by 50 I can hang-it up in favor for a sandy beach somewhere in the FL Keys.
